B & SN dominated the play. Weymouth could not penetrate the B & S N midfield. However, a surprise attack from Weymouth, against the run of play, found B & SN one goal down. Undaunted, B & SN continued the pressure, Sam Jones, particularly strong in midfield, firing in inspired crosses. The team's determination paid dividends when a strong attack from midfield resulted in a great pass from Sharon Lewis to player of the match Linda Smith who finished it in blistering style. 1-1 at half time. The second half continued in similar vein with B & SN pounding the Weymouth defence. A well struck short corner from Smith found Lewis on the rebound to push it over the line. Another surge from B & SN saw Smith fire home the third. A fantastic team performance.
